We will start our Adult Formation activities up again this winter, and we hope you will take part!

Centered in the Midst of Extremes:
Join us during the Season of Epiphany for this five-week series, led by the Honorable Rusty Paul, Mayor of Sandy Springs and member of Holy Innocents’, and former Associate and Interim priest at Holy Innocents’, the Rev. John Porter. They will explore what it is to be “centered” in the midst of extremes — in politics, theology, ethics, economics and the larger social fabric of our culture; and address important issues as they relate to the current conditions in our country and how each of us can be a conciliatory, civil, respectful, centered and loving influence in the world around us — even as we differ on policy and approaches. Join us at 10am each Sunday, January 7 - February 4.

Buddy Crawford’s series on the Gospel of John, held in Christ Chapel:
The gospel of John is one of the most popular, beloved, and most quoted books in the new testament. This class will explore how the author tells the story of Jesus through Jewish imagery, festivals, and holy days. Classes begin again on January 7.

Faith and Fiction:
This class, led by Sally Parsonson, Ph.D. in the large conference room, discusses evidences of faith in fiction. We read a story from an anthology of short fiction and discuss on Sunday morning how the author’s vision pulls us into a story and illuminates our own experiences of religion and spiritual values. The anthology will be available for purchase in class. (Class dates are: Sundays, January 14 through March 18.)
