Adopt-a-Child for Christmas Still Needs Your Support!
A special thanks to everyone who has already “adopted” a child or family through our CAC and Solidarity Sandy Springs Christmas programs! Your generosity is truly appreciated. Thanks to you, we’re well on our way toward our goal of providing Christmas gifts for 150 children — and we’re almost there.
However, 23 children still need to have their Christmas wish lists fulfilled. If you haven’t had a chance to participate yet, there’s still time to make a big difference.
Please stop by Bishop Commons during this week or next Sunday, Nov. 23, to select a child or family from Solidarity’s wish lists. Simply choose a list from a child that speaks to your heart, shop for the requested gifts, and return the unwrapped items to the church by Sunday, Dec. 1. Together, we can bring the magic of Christmas morning to these remaining children.
Each wish list is placed in a plastic sleeve inside one of two notebooks and includes both instructions and a gift bag. When you return your gifts, please place them in the red gift bag, include the plastic sleeve with the wish list, and write your name on the sign-up sheet in the notebook. We’ll take it from there and ensure your gifts are delivered to Solidarity in time for Christmas.
Let’s spread the joy of giving and support families in need during this holiday season. For more information, contact Jan Paul at Janpaul1005@gmail.com or Charles Crosby at Charles@corepm.net.
