Melody McNeil
Executive Assistant for the Clergy
Melody joined the staff at Holy Innocents in May 2005. In her role, she provides vital support to the clergy, lay pastoral care groups, and Vestry, contributing to the smooth operation and pastoral outreach of the church community.
Melody grew up in northwest Georgia and has called Atlanta home for over 40 years. She holds a B.S. degree in Social Work from Brenau Women’s College in Gainesville, which has equipped her with a strong foundation in empathy, service, and community support.
Outside of her professional duties, Melody enjoys a variety of hobbies. She loves baking, often sharing her homemade treats with friends and family. She also prioritizes staying active through regular exercise and cherishes the time spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories and fostering close family bonds.
Melody and her husband, Britt, reside in Marietta. They are dedicated members of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, where they actively participate in church activities and community service. Their shared faith and commitment to their community are central to their lives and obvious to all they encounter.
