Children’s Ministry Helpers: Set up & Decorating

It is a running joke in Children’s Ministry that a huge part of the job is moving loads of supplies from one place to another. In Children’s Ministry we plan and organize props for teaching, supplies for games, arts and craft activities, science experiments and of course snacks. With many of our ministry events involving more than one of the above components we have a dire need for Ministry Helpers in the following areas:
Set up & Decorating- Our special events require a lot of set up/decorating and then also breakdown and reorganizing our supplies into the supply closet. Often this can be done the day before and the day after. Also, helping to keep the children’s area decorated for the seasons keeps the area fresh and vibrant for children so that they know that special preparations were made for them to come learn, play, and experience the Lord.
